The World Cup overlay setup

Vision’s World Cup 2026 overlays brought the score, match clock, lineups and statistics into football streams. The tournament has ended; this page keeps the original setup context for returning visitors.

For upcoming matches, use the Football Pass and the competitions available in the current editor. Do not rely on the old World Cup default to select your next fixture.

The layers used for a matchday

• Football Scoreboard: teams, score and match clock, with optional formation and statistics views.
• Football Formation: a pitch layout for the starting lineups, when that data is available.
• Football Stats: match statistics such as possession, shots, corners and cards.

Available lineup and statistics data varies by competition and match.

Reuse your setup for another match

1. Open your existing overlay or create a new one. Football access requires the Football Pass or an eligible plan such as Pro.
2. Add or select the football layers you want to display.
3. Use the current match picker to choose an available competition and fixture. Check that the selected match has the data you need.
4. Adjust the layout, labels and style for the new match, then save.
5. Add the overlay output URL to an OBS Browser Source, or reuse the source already connected to that overlay. Test it in OBS before going live.

Match your broadcast delay

Live match data and the feed you are watching can arrive at different times. Use Stream delay (seconds) in the football layer controls to align the overlay with your commentary. Test the delay against the actual feed rather than assuming the setting from your World Cup stream is still correct.

Work with your moderators

An invited moderator can help manage your overlay with the permissions assigned to their Vision role. Review the role before handing over controls, and test the setup together. The overlay owner’s football access applies to the overlay; a moderator does not buy a separate pass for that same overlay.
