Stream Deck Plugin for Your OBS Overlay

Control your overlay with Stream Deck buttons

Your overlay runs in OBS as a browser source, and the 1UP Vision plugin turns your Stream Deck keys into its remote control. Press a key to add a point to your death counter, pause the timer or show a layer – without alt-tabbing into the editor mid-game. Every change goes live on stream immediately.

Set up the Stream Deck plugin

1. Install the 1UP Vision plugin from the Elgato Marketplace. You also find the link in Vision under Settings → StreamDeck
2. Connect the plugin to your Vision account. Under Settings → StreamDeck you see your connected Stream Decks and can disconnect them at any time
3. Open the Stream Deck app and find the 1UP Vision category in the actions list
4. Drag an action onto a key and pick the Overlay and the Layer it should control
5. Press the key – the change shows up in your overlay right away

The plugin runs on macOS 12 or later and Windows 10 or later with Stream Deck software 6.9 or newer.

All Stream Deck actions

• Add and Subtract: count a Score or Hearts layer up or down by any amount – death counter, win counter, lives
• Set: set a value on a layer, for example the points of a score, a text, the position, size or opacity
• Show, Hide and Toggle: show or hide any layer, like a "Be right back" banner, a webcam frame or a sponsor logo
• Pause, Resume and Reset: control timers, countdowns and stopwatches. Pause and Resume keys show whether the timer is running
• Select Caller: choose which caller a cam layer shows when you stream with Calls
• Variable: add, subtract, set or reset a Vision variable
• Run Automation: start an automation with a single key

Run automations from a Stream Deck key

In Vision automations, pick the Stream Deck button trigger and give it a Button name. Publish and enable the automation, and it appears in the plugin's Run Automation action. One key press can then run several steps at once – for example reset your counter, show a lower third and post a message in your chat. Automations and variables are part of the Basic plan.

Let your mods use their own Stream Deck

The plugin lists every overlay your account can access, including channels where you have a role. Give your mod a role that can edit overlays, and they can control your counters and timers from their own Stream Deck while you play.
