How to import your alerts
Vision reads importable alert configurations from StreamElements alert boxes and creates new alert collections. Review the imported results in Vision before replacing a live OBS source.

Open Alerts in Vision
Choose Import from StreamElements on the Alerts page.

Choose how to access the overlay
Connect your StreamElements account to select overlays, or paste a Launch overlay URL generated while signed in to the overlay owner's account.

Select alert boxes
Pick the overlays that contain alert boxes. Vision imports their supported alert configurations into new collections, including variations when available.

Review and test
Check text, media, timing and event rules in the new collection. Test each alert and its Vision browser source in OBS before going live.

Before you switch
Two import paths
An account connection lists your overlays. An owner-generated Launch overlay URL can import one without connecting an account.
A new collection
Import creates a Vision alert collection. It does not modify your StreamElements overlay.
Review is part of the move
Overlays without importable alert boxes are skipped. Custom setups may need adjustments, so test the result before changing a live scene.

Common questions
Do I need to connect my StreamElements account?
No. You can import from an owner-generated Launch overlay URL. To browse and select several overlays inside Vision, connect the account.
Will this replace my existing StreamElements alerts?
No. Vision creates new alert collections. Your StreamElements setup remains in place while you review and test the import.
What if an overlay does not appear or import?
Vision imports overlays with alert boxes it can read. Shared editor links may not authorize the overlay; use a Launch overlay URL from the owner's account or reconnect StreamElements and try the account path.
