Free widgets for your stream

Widgets are single elements for your stream – a death counter, a timer, your chat – that you add to OBS one by one. They are free on every Vision plan, including the Free plan, with no download and no OBS plugin: each widget is a link you add as a browser source. You can create up to 20 widgets.

Seven widget types

• Score: a counter for deaths, wins, losses or points. Learn more about counter overlays
• Timer: a timer you can start, pause and reset live. More about timers
• Chat: your chat on stream, styled your way. More about the chat overlay
• Lower Third: names and titles for guests, topics or sponsors. More about lower thirds
• Video: a video player on your stream. More about videos
• Hearts: lives shown as hearts, great for challenge runs
• Challenges: a win challenge tracker. More about win challenges

Add a free widget to OBS

1. Log in to Vision and open the Widget Gallery – from your dashboard via Browse widgets
2. Click Create new Widget, select the widget type and give it a name
3. The editor opens: change colors, fonts, size and animations
4. Under Embed widget in OBS, copy the widget URL
5. In OBS, add a new Browser source, paste the URL and use the size shown in Vision

When you change the widget later, save it and OBS picks up the change – you only need to update the browser source if the widget size changes.

Manage your widgets

The Widget Gallery shows all your widgets with a counter of how many of your 20 you have used. Search them by name or type, open one with Edit Widget, or rename and delete widgets you no longer need.

From widgets to a full overlay

Each widget is one element. If you want several elements in one layout, build an overlay instead: the Free plan includes one overlay with up to 10 layers, and Basic and Pro give you more overlays with no layer limit.
