Getting started with Vision
Vision lets you build stream overlays in your browser and show them in OBS. This guide takes you from sign-in to a working overlay on stream – most streamers are done within a few minutes.
Updated
Create your first overlay
Sign in
Go to app.1up.vision and sign in, for example with your Twitch account.
Open Overlays
Click Overlays in the sidebar.
Create an overlay
Click Create overlay, give it a name and pick the dimensions – horizontal 1920×1080 for a regular 1080p stream. Under Start with a layout you can begin with a Blank canvas or a layout like Just chatting, Scoreboard or Starting soon.
Add layers
Click Add Layer (shortcut: A) to add text, media, chat, counters, timers and more.
Position and style
Drag layers into place, resize them and adjust fonts and colors to match your stream.
Save
Save the overlay. Next, bring it into OBS.
Add the overlay to OBS
In the overlay editor, click Insert Overlay. You can drag the overlay straight into OBS, or copy the link and create the browser source yourself:
Open OBS
Launch OBS Studio and select the scene you want to use.
Add a browser source
Click + under Sources and choose Browser.
Paste the URL
Paste the overlay link you copied in Vision into the URL field.
Set width and height
Use the same dimensions as your overlay, for example 1920×1080, and click OK.
Next steps
- Counters – track deaths, wins or any score.
- Timers – add countdowns or stopwatches.
- Chat – show your Twitch chat on stream.
